Account Information: If you sign in with Apple or Google, we may collect your name and email address for authentication and account management.

Preferences: When you swipe on images, places, or other content to indicate your travel interests, we collect these preferences to generate personalized itineraries and recommendations.

User Content: If you upload photographs, reviews, ratings, comments, or other content, we collect and store this content to provide TripShape's features. Photographs may contain information such as location, date, or other metadata depending on the original file.

Location Data: If you enable location services, the App may access your current location to provide map, location, and travel-related features.

App Usage Data: We may collect non-identifiable technical and usage information such as device type, operating system, application interactions, and diagnostic information to improve performance, security, and user experience.

AI and Automated Processing: TripShape may use artificial intelligence and automated technologies to analyze User Content, generate recommendations and itineraries, categorize places and photographs, moderate content, and improve our services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

App Functionality: To authenticate your account, create and personalize travel itineraries, provide recommendations, display maps, and operate TripShape's features.

User Content: To store, display, organize, analyze, moderate, and improve photographs and other content submitted by users.

AI and Product Improvement: To operate, develop, test, improve, and personalize TripShape's AI-powered and other features, including analyzing photographs and generating tags, classifications, descriptions, and other information derived from User Content.

User Support: To respond to inquiries and provide technical assistance.

Performance and Security: To monitor app stability, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain secure operation.

Analytics: To understand usage trends and improve TripShape's features and services.

Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws and protect the rights, safety, and security of TripShape, our users, and others.

3. Photos and User Content

When you upload a photograph or other content to TripShape, you confirm that you have the right to share that content and that doing so does not knowingly violate another person's rights.

You retain ownership of content that you own. However, by uploading User Content, you grant TripShape a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, store, modify, adapt, display, distribute, publish, analyze, and otherwise use your User Content for operating, improving, developing, marketing, and commercializing TripShape and its products and services.

This includes the right to:

• display your photographs to other TripShape users;

• use photographs in TripShape's products, website, social media, marketing, and promotional materials;

• crop, resize, compress, edit, or otherwise adapt photographs;

• analyze photographs using AI, machine learning, computer vision, or similar technologies;

• create tags, classifications, descriptions, metadata, embeddings, and other information derived from photographs;

• combine User Content with other information to create databases, datasets, maps, and other products;

• license or provide User Content or derived information to partners and other third parties; and

• transfer these rights as part of a merger, acquisition, sale, restructuring, or other transfer of TripShape or its assets.

Unless otherwise stated in a specific TripShape campaign or promotion, you will not receive payment or royalties for our use of your User Content.

4. User Content and AI

TripShape may use automated systems, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and human review to analyze, classify, moderate, recommend, or otherwise process User Content.

Information derived from User Content may include visual characteristics, location information, categories, tags, descriptions, popularity signals, and other metadata.

TripShape may use aggregated, anonymized, or derived information to operate, improve, develop, research, and commercialize its products and services, subject to applicable law.

Some information or recommendations provided by TripShape may be generated or assisted by AI. AI-generated information may be inaccurate or incomplete and should not be relied upon for medical, legal, financial, emergency, safety, or other professional decisions.

5. Content Rules and Safety

You may not upload or use TripShape to distribute content that:

• infringes another person's intellectual-property or privacy rights;

• is illegal, fraudulent, or deliberately misleading;

• promotes or facilitates violence, terrorism, exploitation, trafficking, or serious harm;

• promotes, encourages, or facilitates suicide or self-harm;

• sexually exploits or endangers children;

• contains child sexual abuse material;

• harasses, threatens, or abuses others; or

• otherwise violates applicable law.

TripShape may remove content, restrict accounts, or take other appropriate action when content violates these rules or creates legal, security, or safety concerns.

TripShape may use automated systems and human review to detect and moderate prohibited content.

6. Data Retention and Account Deletion

Account information is generally retained while you maintain an account.

Swipe preferences and other information necessary to provide TripShape's features may be retained while you use the Services.

User Content may be retained and used in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

Deleting your account does not necessarily require immediate deletion of information that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, technical, or legitimate business purposes, or information that has already been incorporated into aggregated, anonymized, or derived datasets.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to applicable law.

7. Third-Party Services

TripShape integrates with third-party services, including:

Apple Sign-In & Google Sign-In: For account creation and login.

Hosting and Cloud Services: To process and store information required to operate TripShape.

AI, Analytics, and Technology Providers: To provide certain AI, analytics, infrastructure, moderation, and other technical functionality.

These providers may process information on our behalf and have their own privacy policies and terms.

TripShape may also share information with service providers, business partners, licensees, or other third parties where necessary to provide and improve our services, operate our business, comply with law, or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
